Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. Names Rachel Sasseville Executive Director of Clinical Development and Training

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., an innovative non-profit provider of evidence-based treatment for substance use and mental health disorders, today announced a key leadership promotion within the operations team. Rachel Sasseville, LICSW, LADC1 has been promoted to Executive Director of Clinical Development and Training.

In this new role, Sasseville will oversee and support the development and implementation of trainings for the entire organization and external sources, including competency-based trainings for all clinical staff. She will also support in the research and development of evidence-based programming, curricula, and assessments.

“Rachel has been an asset at Spectrum for ten years and we are fortunate to have her on our team, helping to further our mission beyond the direct services we provide,” said Lisa Blanchard, Chief Clinical Officer. “She is extremely skilled at developing and delivering high-quality clinical training and technical assistance programs tailored to the unique needs of clinicians, organizations and communities. Rachel continues to be a leader in training and technical assistance, and we’re excited to see her grow in her new role.”

Sasseville began her career at Spectrum as a Senior Clinician providing clinical counseling and group therapy to patients in an opioid treatment facility. She also provided clinical supervision of social workers and case managers before eventually moving into the role of Clinical Program Director. She spent the last four years as the Director of Corporate Training where she led the design, development and delivery of organization-wide training for both clinical and non-clinical staff, which equipped her with the experience needed to step into her new role.
