Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., a longtime not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a comprehensive continuum of addiction treatment throughout Massachusetts, announces today the appointment of Jonathan Miller as Vice President of Information Technology. In this newly created position, Miller will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s information technology strategy.
“Information technology in behavioral health care is more important than ever before,” said Spectrum Health Systems’ President and CEO Kurt Isaacson. “It’s the basis for providing quality integrated treatment, facilitating continuity of care and streamlining business operations. Increasingly, technology is being used to support individuals in recovery through mobile apps and provide clients with telehealth treatment options. Jonathan brings the requisite education, experience and skill set to provide hands-on management of our talented IT department.”
Miller brings more than 19 years of experience in the IT field, including 17 years working in the nonprofit sector. “I am very excited to join such a mission-driven, business-savvy organization,” said Miller. “I’m really looking forward to working with Spectrum’s leadership and staff to further advance the company’s IT systems and solutions.”
