Published On: August 9th, 2019

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., is pleased to announce a new partnership with Regis College which allows Spectrum staff to receive tuition discounts on relevant graduate, doctoral and certificate programs.

Spectrum employees are now eligible to enroll with Regis College and receive a 20 percent tuition reduction for eligible on-campus graduate, doctoral and certificate programs, and 10 percent off online graduate programs. Regis will also waive the application fee and GRE/MAT requirements. Eligible programs include Counseling Psychology, Health Administration, Public Health, Social Work and numerous nursing programs.

“Investing in our employees is one of our main priorities as an organization,” says Kurt Isaacson, CEO of Spectrum Health Systems. “Partnering with Regis College will allow our staff to advance their education in addiction treatment and behavioral health care. In turn, we are able to continue providing the highest quality of evidence-based treatment for people in all stages of addiction recovery.”

By 2020, it’s estimated that 2.6 million jobs will require an advanced degree, with requirements for a master’s degree growing by 22 percent and doctorates and professional degrees increasing by 20 percent.

“We recognize Spectrum as a major player in addiction treatment and we see a growing need for professionals in behavioral health and nursing, specifically in this field,” says Antoinette Hays, President of Regis College. “We’re excited to have Spectrum’s employees enrolling in our programs to further their careers and continue making strides in combating the opioid epidemic and caring for people struggling with this devastating illness.”

Regis College has 1,900 graduate students enrolled on-campus and online while maintaining small class sizes. Regis provides the flexibility that many modern-day students seek as they fit their educations around jobs and family life. For Spectrum employees, Regis will offer hybrid courses, where students split their time attending class on-campus and engaging in coursework online.
