Spectrum Health Systems Appoints Heidi DiRoberto to Vice President of Outpatient Services

Published On: July 22nd, 2025

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., an innovative non-profit provider of evidence-based treatment for substance use and mental health disorders throughout Massachusetts, today announced the promotion of Heidi DiRoberto to Vice President of Outpatient Services.

“Heidi exemplifies the kind of visionary leadership that not only transforms systems, but impacts the lives of those we serve,” said Kurt Isaacson, President and CEO of Spectrum Health Systems. “Her unique ability to blend clinical expertise with strategic foresight has been instrumental in driving our organization forward and will ensure we remain at the forefront of meeting the evolving needs of our communities.”

A dedicated leader with over 20 years of experience in behavioral health, DiRoberto has been a driving force behind several of Spectrum’s most impactful outpatient initiatives since joining the organization. In 2014, DiRoberto served as a Clinical Supervisor at the Lincoln Street outpatient program in Worcester, its largest opioid treatment program. In her early years with the organization, she led the development of a comprehensive grief and loss curriculum used across inpatient and outpatient systems.

She then went on to become Program Director at Lincoln Street, where she chaired an internal overdose prevention committee and played a key role in ensuring access to Narcan for all outpatient clients. DiRoberto was later promoted to Regional Executive Director in 2020. In that role, she spearheaded the launch of the groundbreaking mobile treatment unit, and oversaw the expansion of services with new outpatient locations on Main Street in Worcester and Oak Street in Westborough.

In her new role, DiRoberto will oversee clinical operations across Spectrum’s outpatient network, driving strategic growth while ensuring the highest standards of care. Her appointment reflects Spectrum’s ongoing commitment to investing in experienced leaders who understand the complexities of behavioral health and the changing priorities of the individuals and families it serves.

“Heidi has been an agent of change across our organization,” said Kristin Nolan, Chief Operating Officer of Spectrum Health Systems. “Her compassionate leadership and blend of innovative thinking and operational insights makes her the ideal person to lead the next chapter of our outpatient strategy. I know under her guidance, we will continue to elevate the quality, accessibility and impact of the care we provide.”
