Spectrum Health Systems Strengthens Finance Team with Key Promotions

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., an innovative non-profit provider of evidence-based treatment for substance use and mental health disorders throughout Massachusetts, today announced two key leadership promotions within its Finance Department. Alicia Hashey will serve as Executive Director of Finance and Administration, and Heather Mendoza Fournier will step into the role of Controller.

Hashey joined Spectrum in 2022 as a Controller and has been a driving force in modernizing and streamlining financial operations. Over the course of her career, she has successfully led the conversion of Spectrum’s accounting system to NetSuite and oversaw the implementation of a new HR and payroll system, Paycom. She also has guided the organization through three year-end audits while improving reporting efficiency and accuracy across departments.

In her new role as Executive Director of Finance and Administration, Hashey will continue to lead the accounting team, partnering closely with program directors to identify operational efficiencies and revenue opportunities that strengthen Spectrum’s sustainability and impact.

Mendoza Fournier joined Spectrum in January 2023 as a Senior Staff Accountant, bringing extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Working closely with Hashey, she has played an important role in Spectrum’s monthly fiscal close and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all functions.

As Controller, Mendoza Fournier will supervise the accounting staff, including accounts payable team and two staff accountants.

Spectrum was asked to participate in a plenary discussion of federal reentry grant programs by U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts Carmen Ortiz.

Spectrum’s 15th Annual Charity Golf Classic Raises Nearly $70,000 for Addiction Treatment

Worcester, MA – November 10, 2016 – Spectrum Health Systems, the largest private non-profit substance abuse and mental health treatment provider in New England, hosted its 15th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Monday, October 3 at the Framingham Country Club. Nearly 125 golfers participated in the event, raising $68,593 in support of Spectrum’s continuum of addiction treatment services.
